Why You’ll Love It
What started as a discovery during a family vacation turned into one of the largest museums focused on science and science education in the world. Since opening in 1933, the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, (or Griffin MSI for short), has offered an award-winning and diverse range of interactive exhibits and galleries covering topics such as physics, chemistry, biology, and space exploration.
They work to take these discoveries beyond the walls of the museum, inspiring children, teens, and adults to test the limits of their imagination and expand their education. With over 400 acres of space, they can display impressive tornados, tesla coils, ancient boats, futuristic robots, a World War II submarine, and so much more to help foster a love of science and inspire the genius in everyone.
